Selin Cetinkaya

Selin Cetinkaya has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Selin began their career as a Counterperson at Lucky J's in 2013, and then moved on to become an Administrative Intern at Carousel of Languages in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Counterperson at Mermaid's Garden and as a Software Engineer at HoneyCo. In 2017, they were a Barista at Baked NYC, and then a Barista at Brooklyn Habit in 2018. In 2019, they became a Realtor at Team Price Real Estate, and in 2021 they were an Implementation Developer at AudioEye, where they used internal tools to test website accessibility and wrote Javascript functionality to improve that accessibility abiding by Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) principles. Currently, they are an Associate Software Engineer at RealWork Labs.

Selin Cetinkaya attended Wesleyan University from 2013 to 2015, Hunter College from 2016 to 2017, earning a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, and is currently enrolled in a Software Engineering Immersive program at General Assembly.
