Carissa Petzold

Carissa Petzold is a Research Manager at Reason Research, having progressed through various roles including Senior Research Analyst and Associate Research Analyst since July 2021. Carissa is also a private clarinet instructor for middle school students in Raleigh, NC, and Lexington, VA, operating in a self-employed capacity since 2016. Educationally, Carissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Music from Washington and Lee University, where notable internships included roles in sustainability and market research, as well as contributions as a Teaching Assistant in Applied Statistics. Research projects presented at music educator conferences focused on the historical analysis of musical compositions. Prior to managing research efforts, Carissa gained valuable experience through internships in market research and finance.
