Evan Magruder

Evan Magruder currently serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at RECOGNIZE, a position held since May 2022. Prior to this role, Evan was with Goldman Sachs from January 2016 to May 2022 as Senior Counsel in the Corporation Law Group. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate in the Bank Finance Group at White & Case from October 2011 to December 2015 and a Summer Associate at the same firm in 2010, where a rotation through Corporate and Litigation departments occurred. Educational qualifications include a J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School (2011) and an AB, magna cum laude, from Princeton University, specializing in the Woodrow Wilson School (2008).
