Tom Hermolle

Tom Hermolle has extensive work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Tom is currently working as the Group Director of Engineering, Data & Architecture at Reconomy Group since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Blue Prism as a Senior Software Architect from October 2021 to September 2023. From July 2018 to September 2021, they served as the Software Development Manager at Valpak Limited. Before that, they held the position of Technical Lead at Valpak Limited from June 2015 to June 2018. Tom also worked as the Product Development Manager at Muddy Boots Software from August 2010 to May 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked at Pulse Software Systems Ltd as a Senior Software Developer from July 2001 to October 2007. Tom has also worked on various contracts, including positions as a Software Developer for companies such as London Electricity and ICL Fujitsu, as well as at smaller clients utilizing Microsoft web technologies. Tom Hermolle began their career as an Analyst Programmer at EDS in 1996 and also served as a Technical Team Lead at Marks and Spencer in 1997.

Tom Hermolle attended the University of Oxford from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Chemistry. Tom then pursued further education at The University of Edinburgh from 1995 to 1996, earning an MSc in Process Systems Engineering.
