Chris Arrant

Chris Arrant has a diverse work experience in the fields of editing, writing, and graphic design. Chris is currently serving as the Editor In Chief at ThePopverse.com, a role they started in February 2022. Prior to ReedPop, Chris worked as a Senior Editor and Editor at Newsarama from 2015 to 2020. Chris played a crucial role in re-establishing Newsarama as the leading news website about comics. Alongside their editorial work, Chris has also worked as a Freelance Writer/Editor for various companies including Bay County Supervisor of Elections, Newsarama, iFanboy, and Publisher's Weekly. Additionally, they have experience in print graphic design and marketing as the Owner of Arrant Creative. Chris's skills and expertise in the entertainment industry have been recognized through their authorship of "Modern Masters: Cliff Chiang" and various in-depth interviews with creators.

Chris Arrant attended Gulf Coast Community College from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Graphic Design and Creative Writing. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1995, they completed their high school education at Mosley High School. Additionally, in October 2004, they obtained a certification as a Special Deputy Sheriff from the Bay County Sheriff's Office.
