Abha Bhattarai

Abha Bhattarai's work experience begins with their current role as a Soil Carbon Scientist at Regrow Ag, which they started in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University from January 2021 to February 2023. In 2019, they served as a Program Officer at Nepal Development Initiative (NDI) Consulting Pvt. Ltd, where they were responsible for reviewing and evaluating proposals, conducting research, and supporting project planning and budgeting. From November 2017 to February 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant at Kathmandu University, and in July 2018 they also had an internship at the same institution. Additionally, they had an internship at the Permanent Delegation of Nepal to UNESCO in October and November 2018.

Abha Bhattarai completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science at Kathmandu University (KU) from 2014 to 2018. Abha then pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Science at The Ohio State University from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Capstone: Retrieving, Processing, and Visualizing Data with Python, Python for Everybody Specialization, Using Databases with Python, Using Python to Access Web Data, Python Data Structures, Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python), and Fundamentals of GIS. These certifications were obtained from Coursera, with the most recent certification being the Capstone: Retrieving, Processing, and Visualizing Data with Python, obtained in June 2020.
