Jake Phillips

Jake Phillips has extensive work experience dating back to 2004. Jake started as a team lead at Tira Wireless and then moved on to Quickplay Media as a team lead. After that, they worked at Nitido Inc. as a Mobile Architect and then at Cisco Systems as a Solutions Architect. In 2015 they co-founded Talentuar where they served as the CTO until 2018. In 2016 they also became a founding partner of Elastic Thinking, a consulting company that provided technical experts to SMEs. In 2018 they moved on to Blanc Labs where they worked as a Director of Engineering and managed a cross-functional team in rapid expansion across Toronto and Bogota. In 2019 they left Blanc Labs for Freckle where they worked until early 2020 as a Director of Engineering. Since late 2020 they have been working at Reklaim, first as a Director of Engineering, then as the Vice President of Technology, and currently as the Chief Technology Officer.

From 1999 to 2004, Jake Phillips attended the University of Waterloo where they earned a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Computer Science.
