Charles Daniels has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Charles started their career as a Commissioned Officer in the Indian Army, serving from 1987 to 1994. After that, they joined Reliance Industries, Refinery in Jamnagar as a Manager of Security, where they were involved in implementing security procedures, coordinating training, and managing the security automation system. Charles also played a key role in building and organizing security for the Refinery project. In 2003, they moved to Reliance Communications as the Head of Security National Operation Center, responsible for spearheading the security operations for Reliance Infocomm Business. From 2006 to 2017, Charles worked at Vodafone as the Regional Head of Security, Regulatory Compliances, and Nodal, handling various security and compliance responsibilities. Since 2017, they have been associated with Reliance Industries Limited, first as the Vice President of Security from 2017 to 2019, and then as the Vice President of Security since November 2019.

Charles Daniels completed their schooling at St Francis' College in Lucknow, earning an ICSE degree from 1975 to 1981. Charles then attended Lucknow University from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained a BSc degree in Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry. In 1993, they pursued a diploma in Industrial Security, Safety & Labour Law at Symbiosis in Pune. Charles went on to receive specialized training in ISO 14001:1996 at Beaureu Veritas in 2002 and in ISO 9001 as a Lead Auditor in 2004. Lastly, in 2009, they completed a program in the International Safety Rating System at DNV.
