Jeff Staton

Jeff Staton serves as Vice President, People Development for Chevron Renewable Energy Group. Prior to his current position, Mr. Staton served as Director, HR until he was promoted to Executive Director in 2019. With over 25 years in human resources and training, Mr. Staton collaborates with senior leaders to set the human resources strategic direction and people performance objectives for the company. In addition, Mr. Staton oversees the Human Resources function which is comprised of the HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HRIS, Compensation, and Learning and Development teams.

Prior to REG, Mr. Staton was HR Director at Lauridsen Group, a privately held ag-based company. He also worked at Pella Corporation for 17 years and Central College for 3 years.

Mr. Staton graduated from Central College with a B.A. in Business Management and an Education Teaching Endorsement. He also has his M.B.A. from Emporia State University.
