Pete Leonard

Pete Leonard possesses extensive experience in electronic design and engineering, primarily with Renishaw since November 1994, where current responsibilities include managing the electronic design team, developing VHDL processes, and conducting training in design practices. Previous roles at Renishaw encompassed the integration of FPGA designs and the development of technology research projects. Before Renishaw, Pete served as a Higher Professional Technology Officer at the Highways Agency, focusing on Integrated Information Technology for Road Transport Systems, and as a Senior Design Engineer at Thorn EMI Electronics, where expertise in mobile radar systems was gained. Early career began with an apprenticeship at emi, culminating in a BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of the West of England.
