Luis Faria

Luis Faria is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Manager for Access to Energy in the EDP/Social Impact Coordination Office and as A2E Business Development Director at EDP Renewables. Luis has held various leadership roles at EDP, including A2E Principal Consultant and Project Development Director within the A2E Programme. Additionally, Luis is a member of the Board of Directors at Rensource Energy. Previously, Luis directed the Energy for Development initiatives at Fundação EDP, focusing on Access to Energy programs aligned with the Millennium Development Goals. Luis's career spans several other roles, including Energy Services Director at EDP Comercial and Major Account Manager at Global One. Luis holds a Master of Business Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and an Engineering degree from Instituto Superior Técnico, among other educational qualifications.
