Alex Barinov

Alex Barinov has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Alex worked as an iOS Developer at Revel Systems from June 2016 to February 2019, and then as an iOS Developer on a contracting basis starting from March 2019. Before that, they worked as a Software Developer at Bitcasa, Inc. from November 2015 to May 2016. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at MERA from October 2013 to December 2015. Before MERA, Alex worked at Stex Group as a CTO from October 2011 to September 2013. Alex'searliest role was at MERA, where they served as a Team Lead from July 2010 to December 2010, as a Team Lead on various projects from September 2010 to March 2011, and as a Software Designer from July 2005 to December 2006. In one of their roles at MERA, they also led a team of 10+ developers in the Media Processing Server project for Nortel and was responsible for sustaining and developing new features.

Alex Barinov earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the State University of Nizhni Novgorod named after N.I. Lobachevsky (UNN) between 2002 and 2007. In addition, they obtained certifications in Problem Solving and SQL from HackerRank in May 2022 and January 2022, respectively.
