Jessica Lovstad

Jessica Lovstad is an accomplished veterinarian with extensive experience in zoological medicine. Currently serving as an Associate Veterinarian at Roger Williams Park Zoo since May 2021, Jessica previously completed a Veterinary Residency at Lincoln Park Zoo from July 2016 to August 2020. Additional experience includes a Veterinary Internship at Phoenix Zoo and an internship in Food Animal Medicine and Surgery at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. Jessica's early career includes support internships at Lincoln Park Zoo and a sales associate position at Wells Street Popcorn. Educationally, Jessica holds a Master's degree in Clinical Investigation from Northwestern University, a DVM from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago.
