Marie Tamba is a Senior Analyst with Rhodium's Energy & Climate practice.
Marie leads Rhodium’s work analyzing European climate and energy developments. Her areas of expertise include European markets, policies, and energy technology deployment, and her work informs Rhodium’s modeling of global greenhouse emissions and analysis for decision-makers.
Before joining Rhodium, Marie was an economist at the European Commission, leading modeling work on policies to deliver Europe’s net-zero emissions objectives, such as the Energy Union, the European Green Deal, and RePowerEU. Prior to that, Marie served as an economic adviser to the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change, focusing on electricity market design and renewable energy technologies. Marie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from the University of Paris Dauphine, and a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in environmental economics from the University of Strathclyde.
