Latela Foloko has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in finance and administration. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Accountant at World Vision, where they supervised financial reporting and ensured compliance with donor regulations. From 2012 to 2013, they were an Accountant at Sun International, overseeing payroll, revenue, and expense journal entries. At Jhpiego, from 2013 to 2016, they served as a Finance Officer, managing budgets, ensuring compliance, and preparing financial reports. Finally, at Right to Care, they worked as a Finance Manager from 2016 onwards, overseeing financial activities, managing a team, and generating reports. Latela also served as a Finance & Administration Manager, responsible for the start-up of the Lesotho Country office and project administration.
Latela Foloko completed a Bachelor's Degree in Bcomm-Accounting from the National University of Lesotho, attending from 2004 to 2008. Following this, Latela pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Management at North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit, from 2023 to 2024. In addition to these academic qualifications, Latela obtained various certifications including a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in July 2021. Latela also earned a certification in Global Finance Capacity from World Vision International in June 2012 and a certification in Gate Way to Grants from World Vision US Grants Compliance in March 2012.
