Roger Amhof has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Roger started their career as a Research Assistant at Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg, where they contributed to the writing and release of a book on financial analysis techniques. Roger then worked at Arthur Andersen, where they served as a Junior to Manager in the Financial Audit and Enterprise Risk Services division.
Amhof continued their career at Ernst & Young, initially serving as a Senior Manager and later as an Equity Partner. During their time at Ernst & Young, they held various leadership roles, including Head of Risk Advisory Switzerland and Head of Sustainability/ESG Advisory Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Roger also served as the Global Client Service Partner for selected key accounts.
In 2014, Amhof joined Landis+Gyr, where they held the position of Executive Vice President and Member of the Group Executive Management. Roger was responsible for developing strategies for the group, businesses, and global functions. Roger also led global cross-selling and synergy activities with Toshiba Corporation.
Amhof then founded amhof. value creation advisory in 2019, where they served as an Executive, Advisor, and Sparring Partner for Management and Board. The company provided independent advice, support, and acted as a bridge builder for companies, asset managers, and asset owners.
In 2019, Amhof also joined Kistler Group as the Global Head of Digital Solutions and Consulting. Kistler is the global market leader for dynamic pressure, force, torque, and acceleration measurement technology.
Most recently, in 2022, Amhof became the CEO of Rittmeyer Group and a Member of the Group Executive Management at BRUGG Group. The Rittmeyer Group focuses on rethinking, automating, and innovating in various industries.
Roger Amhof completed the International Directors Program (IDP) at INSEAD in 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Lic.rer.pol. degree in Economics and Business Administration at Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg from 1989 to 1995.
