Neil English is currently the superintendent at RIVERVIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT. Neil has previous experience working as the director of guidance, school counseling, and gifted education at Moon Area School District from June 2014 to June 2016. Neil was also the assistant principal at Regional School District #17 from June 2008 to June 2014 and a middle school math/science teacher at Old Saybrook School District from June 2002 to June 2008. Before that, they were a high school math teacher at The Grove School from June 2000 to June 2002.
Neil English began their educational career by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh. Neil then obtained a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the same school. After working in the field for a few years, they decided to return to school to obtain their Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of Pittsburgh. Neil also obtained a 6th Year Degree for Professional Certification in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Sacred Heart University.
