Piyush Mehta E.i.t.

Piyush Mehta, P.E., serves as an Engineering Associate at RIZZO International since February 2019, bringing a strong background in civil engineering and structural analysis. Previously, Piyush held roles as a Teaching Assistant at the University at Buffalo, where responsibilities included instructing undergraduate labs on construction drawings and Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Autodesk Revit, and assisting with grading. An internship at FM Global involved performing seismic damage evaluations and reviewing seismic design codes across 54 countries. Additionally, Piyush supported undergraduate students in “Mechanics of Solids” at the University at Buffalo as a Student Assistant. Piyush holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural and Earthquake Engineering from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
