Shay Kennedy

Shay Kennedy currently serves as a School Climate and Culture Specialist and CDF Freedom Schools Site Coordinator at Robbinsdale Area Schools, where responsibilities include overseeing the Freedom Schools program and managing a team of 16 staff members. Previous experience includes the role of Targeted Services Coordinator at Bloomington Public Schools, focusing on training and supporting Youth Coordinators and site leads. Shay has also worked as a Children’s Mental Health Case Manager at Headway Emotional Health Services, assisting children with mental health needs, and as an Assistant Teacher at both Open Arms Christian Early Childhood Center and KinderCare. Early career experiences include internships at John F. Kennedy High School and Visit Mankato, alongside student employment at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Shay Kennedy is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration at Concordia University-St. Paul, having previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
