Rob van Bommel

Rob Van Bommel has had an extensive work experience in the financial industry. Rob started their career in 2004 at Robeco Group, where they served as an Executive Vice President until 2008. During this time, they also held the position of Head of Investment Solutions from 2008 to 2010. Rob then joined Robeco as the Head of Global Product Management from 2010 to 2012. Following this role, they became the Head of Product Specialists Equity at Robeco Group in 2012, where they represented the portfolio management team in meetings with clients and worked closely with the sales team. Since 2014, Rob Van Bommel has been working as a Portfolio Manager Factor Investing within the Quant Equity team at Robeco, focusing on managing over EUR 20 billion for large pension plans globally and SWF's.

Rob Van Bommel received their education from 1982 to 1988 at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they earned a degree in Business Economics (Drs). In addition to their formal education, they obtained the certification in Python Programming Essentials from Coursera Course Certificates in March 2019.
