Joseph Babich

Joseph Babich has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Joseph began their career as an IT System Manager for CMP Media in 1995. In 1999, they joined Sports Illustrated as a Senior Technology Manager, where they were responsible for specifying and implementing cross-platform, technical support and technology integration. Joseph also managed a multi-million dollar budget for 500+ staff members. In 2015, Joseph joined the CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange as a Senior Scrum Master/Senior Business Analyst. In this role, they coached, encouraged and led cooperation of multiple, cross functional teams comprised of professionals from product management, customer success, operations, business analysis and development. In 2019, Joseph joined Home Point Financial as an Agile Coach/Strategist. Joseph was responsible for the growth, development and maturation of strategic business management teams, as well as multiple development teams. Joseph is currently working at Robots and Pencils as a Principal Product Owner.

Joseph Babich attended Hofstra University from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Cultural Anthropology. Joseph then attended Columbia University from 1994 to 1995, studying International Relations and Affairs. Joseph has also obtained several certifications, including an ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Coaching in July 2021, a Certified SAFe 5 Scrum Master in March 2021, a CSM - Certified Scrum Master in December 2016, a Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) in March 2016, and a Google Analytics certification in January 2015.
