Vanessa Helm

Vanessa Helm is an experienced educator with over 16 years in special education. Currently serving as a Kindergarten Teacher at Rockwall ISD since August 2014 and as a Transitions Teacher at Virginia Reinhardt Elementary School since 2014, Vanessa has a comprehensive background in teaching special education to students from Pre-K through 6th grade. Previous positions include Special Education Teacher roles at Southeast Polk Community School District, Fort Zumwalt School District, and Urbandale Community School District. Vanessa holds a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and General Education from Viterbo University and Iowa State University, respectively, along with an Associate's degree from Southwestern Community College.
