Beth Rayfield

Beth Rayfield, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Institutional Advancement at Rockwood Leadership Institute, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Beth was the Director of Institutional Advancement and Director of Development at the Center for Community Change from September 2016 to March 2023. Between July 2008 and July 2016, Beth was the Director of Development at the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA), where responsibilities included conceiving and implementing a diversified fundraising plan for an immigrant rights organization. Beth also held the position of Director of Fund Development and Communications at the East LA Community Corporation from 2005 to 2008, and worked as a Development Assistant at Strategic Actions for a Just Economy in 2004-2005. Earlier experience includes organizing and serving as a board member at UAW Local 2865 from 1998 to 2004. Beth holds a Ph.D. in Visual Studies with a Feminist Emphasis from UC Irvine and a Master's degree in the History of Art from the University of California, Riverside.
