Elio Quinton

Elio Quinton serves as a Board Member for the International Society of Music Information Retrieval (ISMIR) since January 2024 and has held various leadership roles at Universal Music Group since July 2017, including VP of Artificial Intelligence and Senior Director of Machine Learning & Audio, where Elio created and leads the Music & Audio Machine Learning Lab (MAML). Additionally, Elio acts as an Advisor for RoEx, is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board at Queen Mary University of London, and has previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist, focusing on machine learning applications in music information retrieval. Elio's academic background includes a PhD in Machine Learning & Music/Audio Signal Processing, among other degrees in music and physics.
