Paride Morello

Paride Morello is currently working as the Director of Engineering, EMEA at Rosewood Hotel Group since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at EMBLEM Developments from February 2022 to June 2022 and from March 2020 to February 2022 respectively. Paride also took a sabbatical from January 2019 to February 2020.

Earlier in their career, Paride worked as the Project Director - Engineering at Katara Hospitality from February 2017 to December 2018. Paride was responsible for overseeing the engineering design and development of various properties, including Katara Towers in Doha and the Intercontinental Carlton Cannes in France, among others.

Paride has also worked as the Technical Manager at DAS Real Estate from October 2008 to June 2016, where they oversaw the design and construction of The Langham Palm Jumeirah Five Star Resort in Dubai. Paride contributed to the successful delivery of the project through their technical competence and implementation of green solutions.

Earlier in their career, Paride worked as a Design Engineer at WSP, supporting a busy design team from October 2005 to September 2008. Prior to that, they served as a Marketing Product Specialist at Komatsu Utility Europe from March 2004 to September 2005, providing support for excavator products and contributing to business development. Paride also worked as a Sales Engineer at FRABA Group from October 2001 to March 2002.

Throughout their career, Paride has demonstrated expertise in engineering design, project management, and energy efficiency implementation in the hospitality and construction industries.

Paride Morello obtained a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Padova in 2003. In 1997, they participated in UC San Diego's Scholarship: Exchange Abroad Program, earning recognition on the Dean's Provost List. Paride's additional certifications include accreditation as a LEED AP BD+C by the U.S. Green Building Council, certification as a 6 Sigma Green Belt by Galgano & Associati, being a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute, and receiving the MCIBSE CEng designation from CIBSE. Paride is also a Professional Engineer recognized by the Ordine degli Ingegneri di Padova.
