Bill Gurling

Bill Gurling is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Director of Emerging Tech at Rubrik since May 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing technical go-to-market strategies for emerging technologies. Gurling has held various roles at Rubrik, including Manager of Technical Go-To-Market for Rubrik X and Principal Architect for the Cloud Native Protection product line. Prior to Rubrik, Gurling was a Senior Converged Infrastructure Architect at Sirius Computer Solutions and an IT Consultant at Jackson Kayak. Gurling's extensive background also includes military service as an Automations Officer and roles in information technology, such as Systems Architect and Database Administrator for various organizations. Gurling holds a Master of Science in Information Technology Management and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems & Operations Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
