Gerard Romeo has a wealth of experience in software engineering. In 2018, they were Vice President of US Business Development (PITCHBASE) and Customer Success Manager at RUN.EDGE. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Software Engineer at Fujitsu Global. In 2012, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Fujitsu Global, where they worked in the Shin Yokohama TECH branch in Japan and developed a great working relationship with their colleagues. Also in 2012, they were a Software Engineering Intern at J.P. Morgan's European technology centre in Glasgow, where they developed a project using a variety of bash scripts and Perl scripts through vi. This project was released production wide and provided insightful data and an additional layer of stability to the system. During their internship, they integrated successfully with the members of the Glasgow team and stayed in constant contact with other team members from London, Mumbai, New York, and Sydney.
Gerard Romeo obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Software Engineering from the University of Glasgow in 2014. Gerard also holds a Foundations of Project Management certification from Coursera, which they obtained in November 2022.
