Pilar Caballero

Pilar Caballero currently serves as Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer & Chief Privacy Officer, and Deputy General Counsel at Ryder System, Inc., overseeing Compliance & Ethics, Enterprise Risk Management, Privacy, ESG, and Environmental Services programs since June 2013. Previously, Pilar held the position of Senior Director, Global Corporate Compliance, and Associate General Counsel at Biogen from 2007 to 2012, where management of the Ethics & Compliance program for various global markets was a key responsibility. Prior experience includes serving as Counsel for Investors Bank & Trust/State Street, Senior Attorney at Jackson Lewis LLP, and Attorney at Thompson, Sizemore & Gonzalez. Early legal career featured work as Assistant State Attorney in Florida's 6th Judicial Circuit, prosecuting numerous jury and non-jury trials. Pilar holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida and a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, graduating cum laude.
