Shara Mohtadi

Shara Mohtadi is a seasoned professional in climate policy and clean energy, currently serving as Co-Founder and Partner at S2 Strategies, an advisory firm focused on climate infrastructure implementation. With previous roles including Investments and Strategy at New System Ventures, Climate & Infrastructure Advisor for Invest in Our Future, and Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy, Shara has demonstrated expertise in facilitating clean energy initiatives. Contributions also include managing major grant portfolios at Bloomberg Philanthropies and advising the White House on climate and energy priorities during the Obama Administration. Shara's academic background includes a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University.
