Darren Cox

Darren Cox is an accomplished technical specialist and executive manager with extensive experience in the aviation industry. Currently serving as a Technical Specialist at Safair since August 2022, Darren supports the AMO, conducts legislation reviews, performs fault analysis, and oversees aircraft projects and reviews. In the role of Executive Manager: Technical at Safair (Pty) Ltd since March 2018, responsibilities include managing AMO, reporting, engineering, maintenance planning, and logistics for heavy and outstation maintenance. Previously, Darren held the position of Supervisor at the Radio and Installation workshop at National Airways Corporation. Educational qualifications include a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering Light Current from Witwatersrand Technikon, a Higher Diploma in Business Management from Damelin, and training as an Aircraft Radio Mechanician.
