Joel Baum

Joel Baum is the current Director of Learning Design at Safe Passages. Prior to this, Joel held various leadership roles in organizations such as Gender Spectrum, where Joel served as the Senior Director of Professional Development. Joel also co-founded the Child and Adolescent Gender Center at UCSF, focusing on supporting transgender and gender diverse youth and their families. Additionally, Joel has a background in education, working as a Professor at CSU East Bay and as a School Leadership Coach at the National Equity Project. With a strong commitment to equity and achievement for all students, Joel has made significant contributions to the field of education and organizational leadership.
