Ursula Lindenberg

Lived Experience Trustee at SafeLives

Ursula Lindenberg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in translation, editing, and advocacy for domestic abuse survivors. As a freelance translator and editor since 2002, Ursula has contributed to significant projects, including translations for the Federal Ministry for Climate Action in Austria and the German Federal Environment Agency. Ursula is also a Lived Experience Trustee for SafeLives, a charity focused on ending domestic abuse, and served as Founder CEO of VOICES Charity, which prioritizes survivor consultation in domestic abuse services. Additionally, Ursula co-founded SEEDS Bath, a community organization advocating for the inclusion of survivors' voices in policymaking. Earlier career roles include Communications and Press Officer for the International Helsinki Federation for Human Rights and Europe researcher for Index on Censorship. Ursula holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Exeter and a Master's Degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the University of Bradford.
