Steve Scarbrough

Steve Scarbrough has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Steve began their career in 2000 at Eli Lilly and Company, where they worked in Acute Care Sales for four years. In 2004, they joined Elan Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Infusion Specialist. After a year, they moved to Encysive Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director in Medical Affairs, where they worked for two years. In 2007, they joined Biogen as an Associate Director of Medical Affairs and later took on roles including Director of MSL Excellence, Associate Director of Avonex Marketing, and Director of Medical Affairs and National Director of MSLs. Steve worked at Biogen until 2015, when they joined Sage Therapeutics as a Senior Director of Medical Affairs, where they currently remain.

Steve Scarbrough has a diverse education history. Steve completed their Doctor of Health Sciences (DHSc) degree at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA degree in Healthcare Administration from The University of Findlay in 2003. In 1995, they graduated from Mercy College with a degree in Nursing. Earlier in their academic journey, in 1989, they earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from The University of Toledo.
