Olivia Applegate

Olivia Applegate has a solid background in communications and stakeholder relations. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Crime Prevention & Community Outreach Specialist for the City of Chino. Olivia then joined the City of Eastvale, CA in 2017 as a Communications Specialist before being promoted to Public Information Officer in 2018. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing all city-wide communications, community engagement efforts, and managing various projects and initiatives. Since 2019, Olivia has been working at SBCERA as a Communications & Stakeholder Relations Manager, where they are responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication plans and analyzing the understanding of programs administered by the organization. In 2022, they were promoted to the role of Director of Communications & Stakeholder Relations.

Olivia Applegate has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Grand Canyon University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained a Professional Certificate in Advanced Public Engagement from the Davenport Institute for Public Engagement and Civic Leadership in July 2019, as well as a Certification in Public Information from CAPIO in April 2019.
