Brano Perkovich is in his fifth season as the San Francisco 49ers chief investment officer. Perkovich previously served as an executive vice president with the 49ers and a managing partner at Aurum Partners LLC, the family office fund affiliated with the owners of the San Francisco 49ers.
Perkovich focuses on new strategic business initiatives and early stage/growth equity investment opportunities in sports, technology and strategically adjacent consumer markets where the portfolio companies can leverage the 49ers access and network to help drive product adoption and accelerate growth.
Before joining the 49ers, Perkovich was a technology investment banker in Menlo Park and London where he advised technology clients on a variety of corporate financing and strategic advisory transactions. He completed numerous M&A, private and public equity and debt transactions with $15-plus billion in aggregate value.
Perkovich also spent several years with the Boston Consulting Group in Chicago, working on corporate strategy and business development assignments for Fortune 500 companies.
Perkovich holds a B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from Stanford Business School.
Originally from Bosnia, Perkovich lives with his wife, Melissa, and their daughters, Katarina and Emilia, in Menlo Park, CA.
