Allan Smith

Allan Smith is an experienced IT professional currently serving as IT Communications Manager at San Jacinto College since September 1993. In this role, Allan oversees the planning, design, implementation, and management of network and wireless systems, primarily in a Juniper environment. Prior positions at San Jacinto College include Network Administrator II, where Allan designed and implemented multilayer network environments, and Site/LAN Administrator, focusing on customer service and equipment management. Allan began a career in the US Navy as a Nuclear Machinist's Mate from November 1987 to July 1989. Allan holds an Associate's degree in Electronics Technology/Technician from San Jacinto College, achieved between 1997 and 2000.
