Mario Pichardo is an experienced professional in the fields of agribusiness and operations management, currently serving as the Director of Zero Waste and Operations Manager at San Jose Conservation Corps and Charter School since September 2022. As an independent consultant since January 2016, Mario specializes as an agro-economist, focusing on productions and management, policy, finance, sustainable project developments, and investment analysis. Previously, Mario held the position of Operations Manager at Ball Horticultural Company, where responsibilities included managing non-refundable grant funds and overseeing various logistical and administrative aspects of investment projects. Additionally, Mario worked as an Investment Consultant for PRONicaragua, promoting the agribusiness sector and attracting foreign direct investment. Mario holds multiple degrees from the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, including a Master's degree in Agriculture Operations and Related Sciences, a PhD in the same field, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Plant Sciences, and two Master's degrees in Agricultural Economics and Agriculture Operations and Related Sciences.
