Emily Hung

Emily Hung has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources and Management. Emily began their career at UC Office of the President, where they worked as a Sr. Committee Analyst from September 2001 to June 2004. Following that, they joined Grant Thornton as an HR Senior Associate from June 2004 to September 2007. Emily then worked at City of Alameda as a Senior Management Analyst from September 2007 to June 2013. Currently, they are working at the City of San Leandro, starting as a Senior Human Resources Analyst from June 2013 to July 2015, then being promoted to Human Resources Manager from August 2015 to March 2022. Emily currently holds the position of Human Resources Director in the same organization, starting from February 2022.

Emily Hung has a B.A. in History from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.P.A. in Public Administration from California State University - East Bay. Emily also holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
