Leo Bronfman

Leo Bronfman has extensive experience in the legal field, particularly in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. Leo currently holds the position of VP & Global Head Legal Portfolio Functions & Transactions at Sandoz since December 2023. Prior to that, they were the Global Head Corporate and Finance Legal at Sandoz from December 2022 to December 2023. Leo served as the Head Legal BD&L at Novartis from April 2022 to December 2022. Before joining Novartis, Leo was the VP & Global Head of Legal and Ethics, Risk and Compliance at Advanced Accelerator Applications from September 2018 to December 2022. Leo also worked at Novartis Oncology as an Executive Director - Senior Pharmaceutical Counsel from May 2015 to September 2018. Leo began their career as an Associate at Dornbush Schaeffer Strongin & Venaglia LLP, where they focused on corporate and securities law, particularly in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. Leo also gained experience as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Linklaters, and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP.

Leo Bronfman attended Hunter College from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Leo then pursued legal studies at Fordham University School of Law from 2001 to 2004, obtaining a Juris Doctor degree.
