Lizelle Prinsloo

Lizelle Prinsloo is a seasoned geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in the mining sector, currently serving as Principal Geotechnical Engineer and Chief Rock Engineer at Tumela Mine, part of Anglo American Platinum, since April 2010. Previously, Lizelle held the position of Chief Rock Engineer at Bathopele trackless mine and worked as a Rock Engineer at Lisheen Mine in Ireland for Anglo American Base Metals. Lizelle also served as President of the South African National Institute of Rock Engineering from July 2021 to June 2023. Lizelle's academic credentials include a BSc (Hons) in Environmental and Engineering Geology from the University of Pretoria and a Graduate Diploma in Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
