Richard Johnston

Richard Johnston is an experienced educator with a strong background in mathematics and computer science. Currently serving as an AP Mathematics Instructor and Computer Science Teacher at Santa Barbara Unified School District since January 1999, Richard has also held the position of Director at SBHS Computer Science Academy from 2015 to 2020. Prior to this, Richard taught mathematics at Fillmore Senior High School from July 1993 to January 1999. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from UC Santa Barbara (1990-1993) and an Associate of Arts in Human Resources Management from Ventura College (1987-1990).
