Dan Halpern is a seasoned game developer with extensive experience in engineering and design across multiple prominent gaming companies. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Sanzaru Games since September 2015, Dan has led a team in developing Asgard's Wrath for Oculus Rift, focusing on AI, audio, physics, and animation systems. Previously, at Bungie, Dan contributed to the design and gameplay mechanics of Destiny, and during earlier roles at Sanzaru Games and Sega Studios San Francisco, Dan developed AI behaviors and player character functionalities for notable titles. Dan's tenure at Backbone Entertainment as Lead Engineer included pioneering innovations in online gameplay with Super Street Fighter II: HD Remix. Dan holds a degree from Full Sail University.
