Pace Cranney

Pace Cranney has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their career at Westminster College as a student athlete from August 2010 to May 2016. Soon after, they joined Freenome as a Wet Lab Associate, working on cfDNA purification and quantification, along with assisting the founders with daily lab work. This role lasted from June 2016 to August 2016. They then joined Freenome again in June 2017 as a Wet Lab R&D Associate, focusing on R&D tasks in the lab. In December 2017, Pace joined Beacon Sleep Solutions as a Lead Developer and Project Manager until October 2019. Next, they worked as an Athletics Tutor at the University of Utah Athletics Department from April 2018 to August 2020. They also gained experience as an Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach at Judge Memorial Catholic High School from October 2016 to September 2018. In 2019, Pace joined Illumina as a Field Service Engineer, working until May 2021. They then became a Field Engineer at Inscripta, Inc. from May 2021 to March 2022. Pace's most recent role was as an Account Executive at Jumpcode Genomics, where they assisted researchers in optimizing their NGS with CRISPR/cas9 technology. They worked in this role from March 2022 to March 2023. Currently, Pace is employed as a Sales Specialist at Scale Biosciences, starting in May 2023.

Pace Cranney obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Neuroscience and Biology from Westminster University, which they attended from 2010 to 2017. Pace then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah, where they studied from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Pace Cranney has completed various certifications in Python and data science through DataCamp, including courses on importing data, Python programming, Tableau, and web scraping. These certifications were obtained in September 2020.
