Dr. Alexander Glacki

Dr. Alexander Glacki's work experience includes roles at SCHOTT and the Leibniz-Institut für Kristallzüchtung. At SCHOTT, they have held positions such as Managing Director, Director of Operational Excellence, Project Director, Head of Development & Application, Senior Project Manager, and Scientific Advisor in Research & Development. Dr. Alexander'sresponsibilities included managing the innovation portfolio, developing hot processes and technology, and providing scientific expertise. Prior to their time at SCHOTT, Dr. Glacki worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Student at the Leibniz-Institut für Kristallzüchtung, focusing on photovoltaics and laser technology. Dr. Alexander'sPhD thesis was centered around the growth of 4''-GaAs bulk single crystals with traveling magnetic fields.

Dr. Alexander Glacki earned their Diploma in Applied Physics from Technische Universität Berlin in 2011. Dr. Alexander then pursued a Doctorate in Experimental Physics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, which they completed in 2014. In 2005, they obtained a Pre-Diploma in Physics from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Agile Project Management from Brainbirds in 2020, Six Sigma Black Belt from TÜV SüD in 2017, and Certified Project Manager (IPMA® Level C) from GPM Deutsche Gesellschaft für Projektmanagement e. V. in December 2018.
