Laverna Cullop, PHR

Laverna Cullop, PHR has a strong background in human resources, with experience spanning over two decades. Laverna is currently serving as the Human Resources Director for Schumacher Electric Corporation, a role they took on in January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of HR Manager at the same company from September 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Schumacher Electric Corporation, Laverna worked at Mouser Electronics for nearly a decade. Laverna earned their Bachelor of Science in Applied Science with a focus on business from Tarleton State University, graduating in 2021. Continuing their education, Laverna pursued a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from The University of Texas at Arlington from 2021 to 2023. In 2009, they completed an Associate's degree in Human Services Management from the University of Phoenix.

In addition to their academic achievements, Laverna has obtained two professional certifications. In January 2019, they earned the SHRM-CP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). In February 2019, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
