Ashley Hurjak is a dedicated and innovative professional currently serving as a Research Assistant for the Communication Arts & Advocacy Program at Loyola Marymount University, while also holding the position of Founder and Chairman of Research for The Scholar Angels Inc., a nonprofit focused on supporting research costs in underrepresented educational areas. With experience as an Artificial Intelligence Developer at Outlier and a member of lgcy, Ashley contributes to both programming and marketing efforts for supported startups. Notable initiatives include founding "Cancer Crusaders Run," which mobilized 300 participants to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, and leading STEM education efforts through the SciQuest Kids summer camp. Additionally, Ashley has served as a mentor for the NASA International Space Academy, guiding teams in project design and business planning, and was recognized as the Student Visionary of the Year by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for fundraising efforts in blood cancer research. Ashley is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Applied Physics at Loyola Marymount University.
