Ian Brown

Ian Brown is an experienced engineering executive currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at SCREEN since July 2018. Previously, Ian held the position of Director of Technology at SCREEN Semiconductor Solutions Co., Ltd. from April 2016 to July 2018, focusing on wafer processing equipment for the semiconductor market. Ian's career began at Tokyo Electron America in various roles, including Member of Technical Staff, Principal Research Scientist, Product Applications Engineer, and Field Applications Manager, where Ian led research and development projects and provided technical support for surface preparation systems. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Scientist at Lynntech, Inc. Ian holds a PhD and MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
