Andrew Dower

Andrew Dower has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Andrew started their career at FedEx Ground as a Summer Package Handler in 2012 and later worked as a Dining Hall Worker at Geneva College Food Services. In 2014, they worked as a Landscaper before joining Amazon as a Warehouse Packer in 2015. In 2016, they started working at Chemical Solutions, Ltd. as a Laboratory Technician/Analyst, where they ensured equipment maintenance and performed analysis on client samples. Andrew was later promoted to Prep Laboratory Manager/Lead Technician, where they oversaw operations, hiring, training, and facility maintenance. In 2017, Andrew joined Sechan Electronics, Inc. as an Associate Quality Engineer, supporting program-specific functions and shipping-related quality assurance. Andrew was then promoted to Quality Engineer I, managing the quality assurance requirements of assigned programs and conducting First Article Inspections.

Andrew Dower received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Geneva College, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Before that, they attended Red Land High School from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued General Studies. In addition to their formal education, Andrew Dower has obtained several certifications, including the IPC J-STD-001 Certification, IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronics Assemblies Certification, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements & Acceptance for Cable & Wire Harness Assemblies. These certifications were acquired in December 2021 from IPC.
