Craig Carney started their career as a self-employed HR Consultant in 2007, providing HR and recruitment advice to SME clients. Craig worked closely with clients to manage complex employment relationship cases and provided a customer-focused HR service. In 2014, Craig joined Seddon as the Head of HR, reporting to the board of directors. In this role, they were responsible for shaping and supporting the HR and L&D Strategy to build an engaged organization with a culture of high performance and talent management. Craig led a team across multiple regions and sites in the UK.
Craig Carney obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Business & Finance from The University of Salford between 1996 and 2000. Later, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master's degree in Human Resource Management & Development from the same university. In 2017, Craig attended the Henley Business School for an HR Masterclass Organisational Development program.
