SeKON is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Information Technology (IT) Project Manager to lead complex IT projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, provide strategic direction, and mentor junior project managers. Acting as the primary liaison between business and technical teams, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Project Planning: Develop and execute detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget, to align with organizational goals.
Leadership and Oversight: Manage and guide cross-functional teams, including technical staff, to ensure successful project execution. Mentor and support junior project managers as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment between business and technical teams.
Project Monitoring and Control: Track project progress against key milestones, manage risks, and address issues to ensure timely delivery within budget and scope.
Assess Business Implications: Evaluate the business impact of each project stage, ensuring outcomes align with strategic objectives and deliver maximum value.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all projects adhere to industry standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular updates to leadership on project status, risks, and opportunities.
Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements by analyzing project performance and implementing lessons learned to enhance future project success.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: 7+ years of IT project management experience, with a proven track record of managing large, complex projects. Leadership experience is required.
Certifications (Preferred): PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe).
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IT systems, software development methodologies, cloud solutions, and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
Knowledge: Expertise in project management principles, risk management, and IT infrastructure. Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies is preferred.
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
